Scott Ilgenfritz has over 40 years of experience in litigating commercial and business disputes and in arbitrating and litigating securities disputes. Scott is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator who provides civil litigation mediation services throughout Florida and is available to serve as a mediator of securities arbitration disputes throughout the country.

During his career, Scott has represented clients in a broad range of commercial and business litigation, including the following types of disputes: contract, securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, real estate, legal and accounting malpractice/negligence, construction, landlord/tenant, debts and foreclosure, trusts and estates, deceptive and unfair trade practices, business torts and partnership, corporate and shareholder matters. Scott also has extensive experience representing clients in securities arbitration claims in the arbitration forums of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and its predecessor, the National Association of Securities Dealers.

During his extensive litigation and arbitration career, Scott has participated in hundreds of mediations. Scott is committed to mediation as a process by which parties can resolve their disputes and avoid the expense and uncertainties of trying their cases before a judge, jury, or arbitration panel. Scott believes in a proactive and evaluative mediation style to assist the parties in recognizing the strengths and weaknesses of their arguments and positions and in reaching a fair resolution.
